An atmosphere of love and acceptance

We understand the feeling. Walking into an unfamiliar gathering can be a little daunting, we know. After all, we were in your exact position just a while ago.

Our desire is to create an atmosphere where people will feel loved and accepted; where they will find refuge, God’s salvation, peace and the power to overcome the challenges of life.

Whether you are looking for a home church to be a part of, answers to questions in life, or for resources to help strengthen your faith in Christ, we trust that you will be blessed as you attend our services.

What to Expect at Our Services?

Our services which usually lasts for an hour and a half, start with a hymn followed by a short inspiring video session for reflection. We then have a session where we connect with God through vibrant and passionate songs of praise and worship. You are free to sit, stand, or even dance as most people end up doing.

The worship song session is followed by a 30 minute sermon where we apply time-tested biblical principles to find answers to current life issues. This usually leads to a short meditative session where we allow the congregation to respond to God in prayer.

The service finishes off with a tea / coffee and snack time which offers the perfect opportunity to fellowship and interact with one another. Our ministers are also on hand at any time during the service to offer a private or one-on-one session.

Dress Code?

There is no special dress code for our services. We encourage everyone to come in something comfortable – casuals, jeans or just the way you are.

We believe God has created each one of us with certain gifts or skills that could be used for the benefit of all. We encourage you to join us in sharing the love of Christ with one another and with the larger community.

We invite you to attend one of our Sunday Services at the Portlethen Academy Theatre. Start time is 11.00 am.
