RCCG House of Salvation, Portlethen is a welcoming and engaging Church seeking to grow in God’s love and sharing that love with our community. Excited about the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship and are passionate about caring for those around us.
Our desire is to create an atmosphere where people will feel loved and accepted; where they will find hope and freedom, as can only be truly given by Christ. We are passionate about the Word of God which brings salvation to all irrespective of background or past deeds. We love to see people discover and fulfil the God-given purpose for their lives.
Our Story
House of Salvation, Portlethen Church was founded as an offshoot of The Fountain of Love Church, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), in Aberdeen. The level of growth we have experienced spiritually and numerically since our birth serves as a constant reminder that God can use the seemingly insignificant to make an impact in the world.
The parish had its first service on 6th of November 2011 at the Portlethen Academy Theatre in Portlethen, with 13 adults and 3 children.
What We Believe
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We also believe that the entire Bible, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3 : 16 – 17).
